Since he first turned pro in 1997, Guimez has been French BMX Champion, four times winner of the Vibration Urbaines, long time member of the Masters of Dirt and even organised his own BMX competitions, the Lords of Dirt, hosted within his compound. and skilled performances mark Guimez out as one of the greatest BMX riders in Europe and FreestyleXtreme is honoured to be able to sponsor him with access to the latest Fox Racing apparel.

Check out some footage of Patrick in action below!

Almost all the brands have something in their range featuring the distinctive red, green and yellow design but even if the closest you've got to the Rastafari movement is listening to a bit of Bob Marley and having the occassional, er, recreational smoke you can still enjoy this great looking gear!

Villopoto Documentary '2 Be Continued' Available On iTunes!

We put the trailer up for Ryan Villopoto's documentary a few weeks ago and now, you can watch it on iTunes for £7.99/$7.99. We did, and it wasn't at all what were expecting...

X Games 2012: What's Going Down And When?

The 2012 X Games in Los Angeles starts today and even before the first wheel is turned in competition, there has already been plenty to talk about; Travis Pastrana only competing in Rallycross (in favour of Moto X). Skater Bob Burnquist is likely to be out of the games after sustaining a back injury in practise. So too female Moto X rider Ashley Fiolek. We can't imagine how crazy things are gonna get once the competitions really kick off.

To help you keep track of the events over the next few days, take a look at the schedule below and tune into the ESPN sports channels or catch the action with the online Live Stream:

Slo-Mo BMX Feat. Kyle Baldock

Now, this is a pretty sweet combination right here; Unit clothing, Australian BMX star Kyle Baldock, some sick Slow-Mo trick footage and a Dubstep Violin soundtrack from Lindsey Stirling. Not a bad way to spend about three minutes...

On Pace With Lyn-z Pastrana!

If you haven't yet been watching Red Bull's behind-the-scenes documentary 'On Pace With Pastrana' then you can't really call yourself a Pastrana fan. It's pretty much a hanging offence in the office to say a bad word against the guy. Which can make things quite awkward when we find out he's broken, dislocated or fallen off something. Again. If for some reason he can't make it to the X Games this weekend then shit's gonna get real nasty around here...

Still, you might not be quite so obsessive as some of us. In which case, episode 7 on 'On Pace' is as good place to get familiar as any. Why? Because this episode is all about the lovely Mrs Pastrana (Pro Skateboarder Lyn-z Adams Hawkins Pastrana) as she competes in a celebrity NASCAR race. Yep, seems that Lyn-z has got as much of a taste for high thrills and adrenaline as Travis does.

Nate Adams - The Road To X Games 2012

What a difference a year makes... In 2011, FMX star Nate Adams could do no wrong. He was at the top of his game and a trophy cabinet bursting with awards; two X-Games gold meals and three Red Bull X-Fighters victories. But all it took was for a fairly innocuous accident during a practise session to turn his world upside down...

Airing on the Youtube channel Network A, this new series, called The Adams Family, documents Nate Adam's long and difficult return to health after busting his shoulder. Will he be able to return to form for the 2012 X-Games?  Does Nate really drink a can of Monster with his breakfast cereal? Is the Monster claw logo in every shot? We hope so, probably and it sure looks like it...

Friday T-Shirt Throwdown: Comic Gore!

Row 1, from L-R: Etnies Emerge, Iron Fist Gooney Tunes, Alpinestars The Horror
Row 2, from L-R: DC Shoes Slimy, Santa Cruz Slime Dot, Fox Entrenched
Row 3, from L-R: Alpinestars Root Down, Santa Cruz Awakening, Etnies Busta

We spend a LOT of time looking at T-Shirts here at FreestyleXtreme and after a while, we begin to notice recurring themes across different brands.

So, if you find yourself drawn to a particular style of T-Shirt, we thought it might be fun to round them all up together in one handy location for you. Guess we're just nice like that. For our first experiment, we've found a bunch of Tees with an element of comic gore about them, either with a twist to the brand logo or by adding a bunch of skulls to the print!

Will this be a regular feature? Is this of any use to anyone? Let us know and maybe we'll do some more for you on another Friday in the future...

If you want to get one for yourselves, head on over to FreestyleXtreme! Click the links below to send you straight to each Tee:

Ricky Carmichael Takes The Fox 2013 MX Kit For A Spin

When you are Ricky Carmichael, aka the Greatest Of All Time, the guys at Fox Racing will be pretty keen to make sure he's rocking the very latest Fox apparel.

Ricky Carmichael University 2012

It’s not every day that the greatest motocross rider of all time pays a visit to England. So, we couldn’t have been more shocked when Ricky Carmichael announced he would be hosting one of his famous Universities in the UK! Since retiring in 2006 (at just 26 years old), he has set up the Ricky Carmichael University, which helps teach burgeoning Motocross riders how to ride like the best. It’s an event which is frequently held in the states, but this marked the first time RC brought it to the UK. As well as the man himself, Jeff Emig, Jeff Stanton, Jamie Dobb and Tommy Searle assisted with the teaching – a combined 26 titles between them!

UK King of Dirt Round 1.2!

The first round of the UK King of Dirt was due to take place at X Fest on the May bank holiday weekend but was sadly cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Undeterred, Round 1.2 of the King of Dirt took place at the Penhurst Off Road Cycling park (aka PORC) last weekend for some serious dirt jump action!

Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy Attempt Double Loop World Record at X Games 2012!

Fans of Rallycross are more familiar seeing Tanner Foust behind the wheel of his etnies/Rockstar Fiesta. But his feats of four-wheeled heroism don't end there as Foust, along with team-mate and Hollywood stuntman Greg Tracy, are also members of Team Hot Wheels...

Weather Forces Cancellation of X-Fighters Istanbul

Today we were hoping to bring you a mini report on the action from the third round of the 2012 Red Bull X-Fighters. Sadly, strong winds forced the cancellation of the event amid fears of rider safety.

Vulcanised Vs Cupsole: Which Skate Shoe Is Best For You?

SKATE SHOES 101: CUPSOLE Vs VULCANIZED SOLE

There are many of us who buy their shoes simply on the basis of their appearance. Whether or not they could survive a six-foot drop, survive wear from grip tape or stay fastened even when laces have snapped is simply not a problem that is considered or cared about. That’s cool, though – who doesn’t want sneaks that look good?

However, for the action sports enthusiast there are quite a few factors that need to be taken into consideration before buying footwear and the first hurdle is almost always: Cup Sole or Vulcanised? Which is best for you will always ultimately decided by personal preference but the main differences between the two boils down to what you require most – grip? Or protection?

Taka Higashino - Ready To Kill It At X Games 2012!

It feels like ages since we last posted a good, old fashioned slo-mo FMX video, so Famous Stars & Straps and Metal Mulisha rider Taka Higashino has perfect timing.

If this springtime jam session, filmed in Fitz Land, California, is anything to go by then Higashino could well be in line for another X Games medal to add to the bronze he picked up in 2010. Just imagine how nuts he's gonna go in competition!

Oh, and if you were wondering who or what Black Vegas is, its actually a video production team formed by Hitoshi Kajino and Satoshi Kuroda who are making a name for themselves by filming the exploits of Japanese action sports athletes.

Brook Macdonald: Mt Burke Trailblazing!

How's this for some epic music, epic scenery and epic skills? And, apparently, a demonstration of how readily Red Bull can call in a helicopter for film-making duties...

This is Brook Macdonald, the current number 5 in the UCI Downhill Mountain Biking world rankings showing Mount Burke in his native New Zealand who is boss.

Mount Burke is also home to hunters and hikers and other outdoorsmen looking to enjoy the sights of Wanaka so perhaps Macdonald had to dodge gunfire and dodge bobble-hatted ramblers as well as rip up this trail.

Either way, its a great vid and the perfect thing to inspire you to check out our massive new range of MTB riding gear, helmets, gloves and accessories!

2012 Red Bull Hare Scramble At The Ezberg Rodeo!

There are those who consider the Red Bull Hare Scramble as one of the toughest offroad enduro events on the competitive calendar. Even past competitor Travis Pastrana recalls the brutality of what is known as the 'Iron Giant'

Taking place within the mining town of Ezberg, the Ezbergrodeo attracts 45,00 spectators and over 1500 riders from around the world to take part in four days of offroad and FMX action, culminating with the Red Bull Hare Scramble - a treacherous climb out from the bottom of the mining pit, up the fearsome 'Iron Mountain', via the all-important checkpoints.

Second Global Rallycross Victory for Marcus Grönholm In Texas!

This weekend saw the second round of the Global Rallycross Championship at Texas - and another effortless victory for two-time WRC Champion Marcus Grönholm.

Jeffrey Herlings: MXGP Public Enemy No.1?

At just 17-years-old, Dutch rider Jeffrey Herlings is no doubt a talented athlete. As part of the Red Bull KTM Factory team, he became the youngest rider to ever win the Motocross World Championship Grand Prix, finished second in the MX2 World Championship and won the MX2 Open Dutch Championship in 2011. He’s also recently been added to DC Shoes’ roster of sponsored Motocross riders.

What we do have slightly more doubt about is Herlings’ conduct as a competitor and behaviour off the track...

Red Bull X-Fighters 2012 Comes To iPhone and Android

Do you find yourself counting down the days until the next round of the Red Bull X-Fighters in Istanbul on June 16th and depserate for something to do? Got a spare 69p? Then perhaps you might be interested in this...

The Lunatics Of The 2012 Isle Of Man TT!

Holy crapballs, these guys are nutjobs. We've seen a lot people do a lot of crazy things on the FreestyleXtreme blog but the slightly unhinged competitors of the Isle of Man TT and their 200mph rocket-coffins could well be the most daring/insane we've seen. Even a resident of the island needs to be brave - where else will you face the very real risk of a flaming Yamaha and screaming motorcyclist hurtling through your living room window?

Needless to say, we thought this video was pretty incredible and even exciting enough for us to ignore the bagpipe soundtrack.

And if you think that this particular movie was awesome, you should check out last year's, which features a rider who CRASHES AND FALLS OFF A FRIGGING MOUNTAIN

Now that's something pretty cool to have written on your tombstone...

James Foster Triple Backflip!

So, you can pull off a Backflip huh? That might just about raise an eyebrow. Double Backlfip? Maybe that'll get you a slow 'golf clap'. These days, it's all about the Triple Backflip, baby!

Okay, so this isn't the first time a Triple Backflip on a BMX has been captured on film - that honour, recorded by Guinness World Records, is held by New Zelander Jed Mildon who performed the world's first on May 28th, 2011.

However, we're still going to give massive props to Famous Stars and Straps athlete James Foster and his clearly massive balls. Nobody takes to the Gigant-A-Ramp without a pair that could be carted around in a wheelbarrow...

This Triple Backflip was captured on June 1st, at the Adelaide leg of the 2012 Nitro Circus OZ Tour and, although there are haters out there passing judgement on his landing, we got nothing for respect for the guy. Us? We can Quadruple Flip a pancake - straight into our drooling, gaping maw. BOOYAH!

FreestyleXtreme's 2012 Big Air Jam - Squibb Takes The Win!

After its visit to Silverstone in 2011, this years the Big Air Jam returned to Wales on the 6th June to a capacity crowd. For the first time, the event took place at the Parc-Y-Scarlets stadium in Llanelli, situated to the west of Swansea. The venue, normally the home of rugby union matches, proved to be as equally perfect place for a Freestyle Motocross show with a large sheltered stadium and huge grandstand packed with fans!

James Stewart Takes A Tumble At Thunder Valley

It doesn't matter when it was or where it happened, the internet cannot resist a story about James Stewart falling off a bike. And yes, we are just as guilty of being part of that tailback of rubberneckers.

Marco Peruzzo Photography

Marco Peruzzo was born in Padova, Italy in 1986. Everything started at 15 when along with a friend he discovered a passion for making web sites. At 18 he had the chance to work for one of the best freestyle motocross rider in Europe. He also started to build web sites for a lot of FMX riders and the need to have always fresh pictures of them pushed him to take his first own pictures.

The Road To Loretta Lynn's

Everyone that rides motocross knows that Lorreta Lynn's is the most prestigious Amateur Motocross Championship in the world. If you win at Lorreta's, that's as good as a contract to begin your career as a professional.

In the same way that Karting can act as a precursor to a life  in motorsports - perhaps even F1 - Lorreta Lynn's attracts some of the most determined young talent from across America who are prepared to give everything to lift that Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross winner's trophy. And, hopefully, gain the attention of a team to help them fufil their dreams...

This documentary follows up-and-coming athletes Dakota Alix, Zach Fulkerson, Alexander Frye, Christina Older, Brian Burns, Anthony Rodriguez, and Vann Martin as they hope to follow in the footsteps of previous Lorreta winners like James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath.

Jeremy McGrath's Offroad - Coming to PSN and Xbox Live June 27th!

There's no shortage of off-road racing games on the PS3 and 360 but when we discovered one named Jeremy McGrath's Offroad, coming to PSN and Xbox Live June 27th, we thought it warranted a second look...
