Moto 4: The Movie - Zach Osborne Segment

If you've yet to purchase a copy of Moto 4: The Movie, check out this segment featuring MX-2GP Zach Osborne (one of the most successful American riders in MXGP from the last decade) and see if he gives you that little extra incentive to go and buy it or download it

UPDATE: The video has now been made private by those who originally uploaded it. Sorry about that!

Friday Throwdown: Xmas Gifts For Kids!

Who enjoys Christmas more than you? No one, you say? Well, aren't you the festive one. The answer you were supposed to give, of course, was children. From The Archives: Travis Pastrana Crash Compilation

If, for some reason we barely fathom, your only exposure to Travis Pastrana before now was seeing him racing TORC trucks, NASCAR, Rallycross and undertaking the occasional stunt with Nitro Circus, you might not realise what has made him the action sports superstar he is today.

The answer? A ton of broken bones, countless horrendous crashes and more than one explanation to why he doesn't ride dirt bikes so much these days.

Even if you're a long-term TP fan, this video serves as a great reminder why you love the lanky, fearless, ADD mofo in the first place.

Then afterwards, go and take a look at our huge range of Pastrana colab gear - we've just had the latest Holiday 12 drop from DC - check it out!

Red Bull A Day In The Dirt

Featuring dudes dressed like vikings and Batman, dirt bikes with sidecars, a Fonz-looking guy on a vintage bike riding in his T-shirt and jeans and many more unusual sights, the Red Bull A Day in the Dirt is actually a three day dirt biking extravaganza that took place earlier in the month at Glen Helen.

From a relatively small event, A Day in the Dirt has grown into a huge Grand Prix, which has a attracted a huge number of riders including Ken Roczen, Jeremy McGrath, Jeff Ward, Travis Baker, Ronnie Renner and many other legends.

Over the course of the few days, A Day in the Dirt has several exciting events, including class events open only to Fire and Policemen, a Film Industry-only race, an event for those aged 50 and over and much more. If you can ride a bike, chances are you would be welcome!

Take a look at this video, filmed from the perspective of Vurbmoto rider Sebastian Lee.

Brett Cue Road To X Games 2013

It must take dedication to start training for an event that you are not even sure that you'll be invited to. But that hasn't stopped Brett Cue, otherwise known as BQ365, from being prepared for what many people feel is a sure fire appearance at next year's X Games.

Cue has become something of a people's champion in the world of MX and FMX, with many thinking that he is a dead cert for the 2013 Best Whip Event at X Games 2013.

With supporters that include Justin Brayton, Jeremy 'Twitch' Stenberg, Kyle Regal, the mysterious Ronnie Mac and more, we'd thought we'd get onboard too. Take a look at the vid and see what you think yourselves...

Ryan Tuerck: Game Of DRIFT

If you haven't heard of Ryan Tuerck before, this guys has become a big name in the drift competition scene. With two Formula Drift Championship wins under his belt and a top ten finish for the last three years, this guy has been duking it out with the likes of Tanner Foust, Vaughn Gittin Jr and Daigo Saito.

To build his profile even further, Network A decided to give him his own show and this premiere episode is pretty good - kinda like Top Gear with more swearing and challenges that exclusively involving sliding a car around.

Unfortunately for Tuerck, this first showing of 'Tuerck'd' doesn't exactly show off his skills in the greatest light after getting a sound thrashing from fellow drifter Chris Forsberg but we're expecting good things from future episodes...

Retro Motocross Gallery Vol.2!

"Son, I've been scrubbing since your before your great grandmomma started playing hoop-and-stick."

A look back and the old skool MX dudes of yore. Them olden time guys sure like wearing yellow. Plus: bonus 'skinny Carmichael' pic!

Two Year Montage From Some MX Buddies And Their GoPro

Things we know know about these kids from Philadelphia: 1. They have found numerous ways to spend their days rather than play videogames. 2. They've watched too many videos of Lil Chino. 3. They may have pissed off their neighbours and 4. The guy who made this has left very few slick editing trick stones unturned.

To be fair, introducing the GoPro into their cliff jumping, motocross riding and quad bike free-wheeling free-time has encouraged them to think about what they do more creatively. And it does a pretty good job making us feel a bit guilty that we spend most weekends sinking into the the dent we have made in the sofa, surrounded by Pringle crumbs and  half-eaten boxes of microwave noodles. Only joking, we live a rich and active life*

FSX At Motorcycle Live 2012

The Motorcycle Live show, held at the NEC Birmingham Arena, started on the 24th November and will be running until the 2nd December. So, if you are thinking of visiting the UK's largest bike show yourself, there could still be time to go and check it out!

In addition to the Ramp'd Up Freestyle arena, featuring Freestyle MX and Mountain Bike Trials displays, the show also offered the chance for youngsters to have a go on the Kiddimoto fun track, the Yamaha Off Road Experience, the chance to ride a Red Bull Pro Nationals KTM Motocross bike and much more.

We went to sample it for ourselves yesterday, so take a look at our gallery to see what we got up to!

Further proof that smoking-related liveries always look the best.

Cryril Despres won the 2012 Dakar rally on this. It's been quite the year for KTM!

On Pace With Pastrana: Episode 18

This episode on OPWP shows Mr and Mrs Pastrana having a rare moment of downtime and presents one of the few times we get a glimpse of Travis and Lyn-Z's domestic life. Well, if you can count having custom bikes built for you and visiting Tony Hawk's skate ramp as a 'normal' day...

While it's nice that Travis and Lyn-Z are quite convincing at living the simple life (riding around together on pushbikes, getting discount haircuts and living in a tiny little house in California) it is a little bit misleading when we know that this is what his house actually looks like...

Oh well, we're sure that normal motorised mayhem will resume as normal next week...

Chad Reed: Preparation For 2013

If you watched Vurbmoto's Platinum with Chad Reed last week and still have questions about what the TwoTwo Motorsport Boss/Rider hopes to achieve next year, this this video provides us with a great deal of information on how he has rehabilitated himself after his Supercross accident.

Knowing that Reed has picked up three straight wins in the Australian Supercross season not only provided him with great practise in race conditions but also proves that he's still competitive even after 8 months off the bike.

We can't wait to see how he performs in the 2013 season!

Global FMX Legends At The Monaco International Clubbing Show

Considering the reputation FMX guys have for being insatiable party animals (that's what having a job where you risk your neck and get pumped up on adrenaline every time you ride), inviting the likes of Bilko Williams, Andre Villa and Edgar Torronteras to the Monaco International Clubbing Show for three days of patying with 10,000 visitors in the multi-millionaires playground of Monaco alongside some of the world's best nightclub professionals sounds like a recipe for stomach pumping.

Of course, you can't have a party without Monster Energy, so the guys and girls sporting the green claw turned up to wow the crowds for the Monster Global FMX Legends show display at MICS too. Take a look at this highlight video from the show. Looked like a blast!

Chad Reed: Platinum

Vurbmoto has been teasing it's insightful interview with Chad Reed for what feels like weeks now and the latest in Vurbmoto's 'Platinum' series of Youtube videos finally came out late yesterday.

Some have said that this is quite a slow video, lacking some of the action from previous Platinums. However, if you want to find out how he feels about the 2013 Supercross season then this is the video for you. Needless to say, he's coming out fighting next year, as, in his own words: "The day that I stop being competitive is the day that I step away."

Watch the vid to find out more.

On Pace With Pastrana Episode 17

We almost forget that the most recent On Pace With Pastrana came out last week but we're glad we didn't miss it - this episode is a good one.

Mainly focusing on his Traxxas TORC Race at Chicagoland Speedway earlier in the year, it's good to see Travis performing well. If you like accidents, this one also features a rather spectacular wipeout by Travis' Nitro Circus buddy, Jolene Van Vugt.

When we spoke to Travis a few weeks ago, he mentioned this accident to us. Apparently, he personally stumped up $15k big ones to enter Jolene into the race. Bet he was pleased to see her totalling the car on her second lap. Bet he was even happier when he got the bill to fix the truck...

Kickstart 4: The Final Chapter Movie - Out Now!

If you couldn't wait until Christmas before watching Moto 4: The Movie, then let us suggest another awesome stocking filler for you - Kickstart 4: The Final Chapter.

Created by the guys at Transworld Sport, the fourth instalment in the series returns things to its roots, transporting viewers to the most exclusive places in Motocross with some of the sport's biggest stars. Kickstart 4: The Final Chapter stars Chad Reed, Robbie Maddison, Marvin Musquin, Trey Canard, Eli Tomac, Jeremy 'Twitch' Stenberg and more.

If the trailer isn't enough to whet your appetite, then perhaps the out-takes below starring our favourite Goon rider Ronnie Mac will be more than enough to convince you that this is an essential purchase for MX and FMX Fans.

Kickstart 4 is available now to buy on DVD and will soon be downloadable from iTunes too.

I'll Park Where I Like: Metal Mulisha Monster Truck

With Metal Mulisha founder Brian Deegan already taking part - and performing very well - in the Global Rallycross Championship (he finished 2nd after GRC team-mate Tanner Foust), we knew that the Mulisha had ventures outside of Freestyle Motocross. But did you know that the crew has its own Monster Truck?

This awesome machine has been popping up in competition as various Monster Jam events over the course of 2012 and has been doing a great job impressing the crowds.

Even despite the size, the driver seems capable of getting as much air with the big Ford as anyone has managed on an MX bike. We wouldn't be surprised if they could back flip one soon...

Based on a Ford F-150, the Metal Mulisha Monster Truck weighs close to four and a half tons and rides on 66-inch tyres, costing around $2500 each. The all-wheel drive truck is powered by a mid-engined, supercharged, 8.8 litre (540 cubic inch) Merlin V8 engine, producing in the region of 1500 horsepower.

It's also officially awesome. Lucky old Deegan.

Ken Roczen: Practise At The Red Bull KTM Track

It's only about seven weeks until the start of a brand new Supercross season. Needless to say, the big names a training hard to impress. KTM's Ken Roczen is no exception and the video sees him putting in some time at the Red Bull KTM track before his return to the 250 Lites.

If the 2012 season was anthing to go by (less than 50 points separated 1st place from 4th), the 2013 Championship is going to be equally close fought. Practise will make perfect, Kenny...

As you would expect, this exciting collection of shoes all take design cues from KB's Monster World Rally Car/ Gymkhana/ Rallycross cars, with healthy lashings of lime-coloured detailing too.
